Does my radio need to work?
Your radio does not need to operate however since the ON/OFF switch is reused, the switch will need to function. The tuning knob will still be present but is only for cosmetics.
Will the original knobs be used?

Will the face light up at night?
Yes
Can I listen to FM radio?
Streaming has no direct association with AM or FM radio however some traditional radio stations stream the same content through an exclusive app. You can search the app store for their station ID (e.g. 98FM).
Is this also a speakerphone?
Yes, the new version includes a microphone and will automatically pause the music when a call is in progress and resume when the call is completed.
What is the output power of the amp?
The output power is comparible to a stock radio, about 15 watts per channel. If more power is desired, the output may be fed into a high power car amplifier using the high level input.
Do you offer the service outside of the US?
At this time I can only service radios within the United States.
Why are controls on the radio face important?
According to Jalopnik, at least 31 states have made it illegal to handle a phone for any reason while driving. Once you have set your streaming source you can then use the radio controls to adjust the volume and select songs. You can also use the included mic to place or answer calls, or send/receive text messages. (Example: "Hey Siri, read my most recent text message.")
